Give the Gift of Hope to one of Charleston's Finest...Laurie Little!

On August 19, 2014 Laurie Little was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme Stage IV, an aggressive brain cancer and underwent immediate surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina.  She came through the surgery well -- in large part due to her faith in God and the amazing outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the Daniel Island–Bishop England–Charleston community.  While the medical diagnosis is a tough one -- God is in charge and has the final say.  Through it all, Laurie continues to reach out to others with similar diagnosis to encourage them.  She is Our Hero.

Laurie is a single Mother, a Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend to many, a Neighbor or Co-Worker with a strong faith in God and Miracles!  If you have known Laurie for years (or just met her), you know that it’s all about her boys, Heath, Harrison and Hudson.  Amazing Mom.  Amazing Boys.

There is a tough road up ahead with chemotherapy, radiation and clinical trials – as well as pursuing alternative medical treatments.   As Laurie is unable to work, our goal is to relieve the burden of medical bills, expensive alternate medicines, home healthcare, and other expenses so that she can focus on healing and spending peaceful, quality time with her greatest love – her boys.

Laurie’s is an incredible journey and testimony of Faith in God and the Power of Love and Courage.   You will never hear her complaining, just maybe an occasional, “… just a bump in the road” comment.

Laurie and her family want to thank everyone for their friendship and outpouring of love and support (as well as all of the delicious meals).  Please pray for Laurie’s strength to continue her fight and for her total healing – in Jesus name.

Thank you in advance for your prayers, support and financial donations to Laurie's Medical Fund.  If you know her, you love her – and she has probably touched your life in some profound way.

One of Laurie's favorite scriptures that she leans on is,

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13

All Our Love,

Family & Friends of Laurie Little
